What is radon?

When you hear the word radon, many people probably think of radon hot springs or radium hot springs. The hormesis effect improves blood flow and increases the ability to transport oxygen to muscle tissue throughout the body. It also makes it easier to expel fatigue substances that accumulate in the muscles, which is expected to lead to improved performance.

Radon hot springs have been loved for a long time.

As magma rises from deep underground to the surface, and as the magma solidifies relatively slowly, the feldspar, quartz, and mica crystals grow large, as seen in granite. As a result, elemental components are forced into the gaps between the crystals, and are released from between the crystals by weathering, and are dissolved in water in an oxidizing environment such as upstream of a river and transported.

Underwater uranium repeatedly accumulates in sedimentary layers in reducing environments such as alluvial fans and faults where river water is likely to become groundwater, forming strata with high concentrations of radium and radon. Hot springs that form in places with this type of geology are called radon hot springs.

In Japan, Misasa Onsen in Tottori Prefecture, Arima Onsen in Hyogo Prefecture, and Rurikei Onsen in Kyoto Prefecture are known as radium hot springs, and Misasa Onsen in particular is a historic hot spring that has long been used as a therapeutic spring and has welcomed a variety of patients.
